Oxo Tower Wedding // London
Kat & Larry’s Oxo Tower wedding with an outdoor Hyde Park ceremony was the perfect London wedding fusion.
With so many Aussies flying in for the wedding this couple really knew how to show off the city in style. Breaking with tradition this pair decided on a morning wedding. This was our first ever dawn ceremony & we loved it. There was something pretty unique about seeing the sunrise over Hyde Park as Kat & Larry said there vows to each other. Not deterred by the January temperatures they fully embraced the cold weather.
After the ceremony we took some pictures by the serpentine much to the confusion of the morning commuters (…why was there a bride out at 8am?). Even the horses & horse guards came over to say hello (& we took a few pictures).
They had a real wedding breakfast (croissants & all) which took place back at the house where the couple were flat mates (before falling in love). I loved the way Kat & Larry included such special places throughout their day, it made the day so personal. After a hilarious round of speeches and lots of strong coffee, guests headed of to the city of London. Tucked in the heart of the action is the OXO tower (it’s name precedes it). The views over London are pretty breathtaking especially when the clouds cleared and the blue skies made an appearance. You know the food is going to be good here & guests tucked in with gusto.
Kat looked simply stunning in her Alex Perry dress. With a quick engagement Kat struck gold with finding this pastel pink structured dress by the Australian designer.
We had such fun shooting this wedding. Getting invited in to capture such a special & intimate day is something we don’t take for granted. Here are just a few highlights from this wonderful London wedding…
