Tom & Mel // Barley Wood House Bristol Wedding
On one of the hottest days of the year these two said ‘I do’ in front of friends and family in the wonderful Barley Wood House just outside Bristol. The outdoor ceremony took place amongst the walled gardens of Barley Wood House, set against the rolling hills of Bristol beyond.
The whole day was effortlessly styled to perfection by Mel with amazing floral displays from Roots Floral Designs. There were plenty of nods to Mel’s Scottish heritage with Tom and his groomsmen doing their bit and donning the tartan. Mel looked simply stunning in her Hermoine de Paula dress complete with hand embroidered wedding date and initials on the arms.
The food served was of the highest order, being sourced from the very best culinary delights that Bristol has to offer. Guests tucked into the ‘customise your own’ burger bar (with some of the best chips I’ve ever tried…and I’ve tried a few in my time), the cutest vegan ice cream tuk tuk, wood fired pizzas, not to mention the self styled D.I.Y gin bar and doughnut tower wedding cake from Bristol based Earth Cake Bakery!
Its safe to say no-one left feeling hungry.
What a scorcher of a day it was! The sun shone brightly and the champagne flowed. There certainly was a lot of love for these guys and we had an absolute blast!
Here are a few of our favourite moments…
