Babington House Wedding // Kate & Glenn

Kate & Glenn promised us a Babington house wedding colourfest and boy did these two deliver!  In true architect style, the day was detailed to perfection, from the stunningly vibrant floral displays to the many small creative flourishes. Getting to capture the day alongside the amazing illustrator Tim King was one of many reminders that this was no ordinary event.

With Kate arriving in her Halfpenny London dress there followed a spontaneous eruption of song and kazooing to ensure the ‘I do’s’ were suitably marked. Add in a confetti cannon (or 5) & you know you're in for a good time.

With the Champagne flowing, guests were encouraged to roll up their sleeves and engrave a message to the happy couple onto a freshly thrown pot.  Further evidence of this creative couple's prowess was on show with the unveiling of the wedding cake.  Its crisp white exterior had been expertly decorated with flecks of edible paint by the Groom channelling his inner abstract impressionist a few hours earlier.

Babington house provided the perfect backdrop throughout the day and as darkness fell and guests headed outside for speeches on the steps, it gave an almost magical quality to the atmosphere underneath the soft glow of the festoon lights.

With Somerset as our new home county we were super excited to capture Kate & Glenn’s Babington House wedding and it certainly didn’t disappoint.  After so much uncertainty for weddings in the last few years it was all the more special to see this amazing couple finally get the wedding they had dreamed of.   We were so thrilled to be there to capture their incredible day, here’s a few of our favourite moments:
