Every year we take on a select few destination weddings. When Kayleigh & Dion got in touch to tell us about their Italian wedding in Umbria we instantly knew we were all in and ready to book our tickets. We love getting to explore new locations, not to mention the Italian food and a few days away from the twins! Destination weddings really do provide something unique and special as an experience.
The wedding was styled with an elegant restraint to perfectly match Casa Bruciata’s rustic chic italian vibe. Kayleigh carried this look over to her dress keeping it classic yet modern. She looked absolutely stunning in her custom Viero bridal dress accessorised with a simple veil and white roses. The reception space provided some of the most spectacular views overlooking the vast Umbrian countryside and mountains beyond.
Even if you plan an Italian destination wedding you can never quite guarantee the weather & on the day the rain was sweeping horizontally across the valley. The couple had their heart set on an outdoor ceremony & with fingers crossed (& the wedding pushed back slightly) the sun finally broke through just in time for Kayleigh & Dion to exchange vows in front of their nearest & dearest.
As the sun set on another day in Italian paradise complete with 5 course Italian feast (worth the airfare alone!) Guests gathered for sparklers on the terrace before hitting the dance floor for a night of prosecco fuelled dancing and fun. Thank you Kayleigh & Dion for having us along for your Italian destination wedding of dreams, here’s a few of our favourite moments…
