Crumplebury Wedding // Emily & Jay

Emily & Jay brought all the joy, champagne & colour to their Indian fusion Crumplebury wedding. Crumplebury was the perfect backdrop for the celebrations & such an unexpected treasure down the country lanes.

There are not many brides that get completely hands on with the wedding creating but Emily took it upon herself to flower arrange, design the bridesmaids lenghas  AND make her own cake. And of course it all looked incredible! She used dried flowers to make the standing ceremony arches which we worked as a perfect backdrop for the vows & speeches. The colourful shag cake was not only delicious but looked super cool (note: I need to learn how to do this). It’s fair to say that Emily is one creative, stylish bride.

Crumplebury's blackened barn exterior belies its crisp white interiors that provided the perfect backdrop for this colourful celebration and were an absolute dream to shoot in from a photographers perspective. The terrace played host to the reception as guests were treated to live music & cocktails whilst basking in the late summer sun.

As the sun was setting we were able to sneak off for some couple portraits. A lot of champagne, a few disco balls & a bath tub later & we had the most fun getting some fun, laidback shots of these guys. It’s always wonderful when a couple are up for anything on a wedding day & if it was fun then these guys were all over it. It definitely made for some wonderful memories & images to cherish. Here's few of our favourites…
